A Minisrty that provides free classes for all students. We do not train for sport, or compete for trophies, and you will never see us pit one student against another to determine who can score the most points. That is not self-defense and it has no place in our clubs. Competition leads to ego, not humility. We endeavor to prevent the violence before it occurs. The Japanese use the word Idomazu, which means “no challenge”. This ideal stresses the importance of respecting others. It might be in the form of politeness, courtesy, flexibility, or even just smiling at that car that cut you off. If we strive to think and act this way towards other, it just might be the best form of self defense out there.

Sohei Ministry is committed to helping people strengthen their relationship with Christ, for He is the only way to salvation. Our ministry uses martial arts as an outreach program to teach His word. Using the Living Word of God, we offer practical tools for leading a joyous, abundant and meaningful life. With the practice of martial arts we teach patience, self control and discipline. Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
